What is Trumsy?
Trumsy is the ultimate habit building app for pre-teens/ tweens (8-12 year olds). It is a fun game that helps tweens and teens get organised and learn life skills.Parents get to give challenges to their kids and kids can complete these challenges. Each successfully completed challenge unlocks items in the kids wishlist for the parents to fulfil. It's a win win for all!
How do you play the Trumsy Game?
Game Rules
Pre-requisites The game requires atleast 2 players. 1 parent and 1 child The child must be 8 or older and able to read english and operate a phone/ tablet or laptop Game Play Only a parent can create a child id A parent can add maximum of 8 children Only a parent can create a challenge and allocate tasks to a challenge A challenge starts only when atleast 1 child accepts the challenge Children win points when they do the task. There are 2 types of tasks Type 1 task: Child earns points by doing the task, but does not lose any point if she/ he doesn’t do the task Type 2 task: Child earns points by doing the task but loses points if she/he doesn’t do the task. these tasks are daily task and points are automatically deducted at midnight India time At the start of the challenge, parent can allocate starting points to the children. These points are starting balance and are like a gift to the children participating in the challenge. Any future points addition or deduction happens from this balance The parent has to declare when setting up the challenge the value of each point in Indian Rupees. This is shared with the child when the challenge invitation is sent Once a challenge ends, the points are multiplied by value and added to the child Wallet. The child Wallet is the balance child can use to put things in her/his Wishlist. The parent is obligated to purchase items from the Wishlist as the winnings for the child The duration of the Challenge can be between 1-52 weeks. A parent can set up multiple challenges The parent has a super power (Tag Child Task). How to create an account and Login?
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how to create an account on Trumsy and login. To start, open your browser, type www.trumsy.com and hit enter The Trumsy homepage will open. To proceed, click on the Let's go button If you already have an account on Trumsy, sign in with your email id and password to access your profile. If not, click the Signup button to create an account Enter your email address Your Full Name Type your password Click on the Signup button You will get an email from Trumsy with a one-time password to validate your account. Please look for an email with the subject Your temporary password from sender Trumsy. If you can’t find the email in your inbox, please check your promotional email folder or spam. Write to support@trumsy.com if you still can't find the email. Once you have located the email, copy the one-time password and enter it into the confirmation screen to proceed. You've Successfully logged in now; fill in the data to complete your user profile and proceed To upload a photo for your profile, click the Plus symbol Enter your phone number; it's not necessary to enter it in the phone field Select Your Birthdate Determine your main parenting position Save your profile by using the save button Congratulations! you have successfully updated your profile if you need any support please reach out to us at support@trumsy.com In our next video, we will learn how to add a child to your Trumsy account
How to create a child account?
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how to set up your child's account on Trumsy If you are not logged in, first log in to Trumsy.com with your email id and password After login click on add child Enter your Child’s name and email address If your child does not have an email address, you may want to create one or use email address of another family member You can not reuse your email address as each user in Trumsy needs to have a unique email id Enter the birthdate of your child. Your child has to be between seven to sixteen years of age Select Gender You are almost done!, click the Add Child button. The child has been added successfully Your child will receive an email with a login link and OTP. How to help your child to log in for the first time?
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how to help your child to log in their account for the first time Help your child to open the email account you mentioned while creating the child account. Look for an email with the subject “ Your parents have invited you to play Trumsy“. If you can not find the email in your inbox, please check your promotional email or spam folder You will find a link and an OTP in the email Click on the link, and it will ask for your email id. enter the email id you have mentioned for your child, and enter the OTP from the email as the password. Press the sign-in button. Your child would be asked to enter a new password on the first login. help your child choose a secure password that is also easy to remember. reconfirm the password Your child will be able to successfully log in after clicking the Reset password button. Next, help your child to complete their profile To upload a profile photo, click the Plus symbol Enter your phone number; if you wish to add one To save your profile, click on the Save button. How to create a challenge and help your child to accept a challenge?
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how to create a challenge If you are not logged in, first log in to Trumsy.com with your email id and password After login go to your homepage, Press the button labeled "Create Challenge." Give your challenge a name, make sure to pick one your children find exciting Choose an icon for your challenge Select the children you want to play the challenge with Choose the date you want the challenge to start. Your children will get 2 days to accept the challenge after which they won't be able to play the challenge select the duration of the challenge. You can choose between 1 week to 52 weeks. Award some free points to your children to motivate them to play Choose how much money you want each point to be worth. You can choose from zero to a thousand rupees per point To make it fun! you have the option of 2 task types: For Type 1 Tasks, the Child can do these tasks once a day and earn points, there is no negative marking for not doing these tasks. “Help with meal planning and make grocery lists“ is an example of a Type 1 task. These are good learning skills. For Type 2 tasks, the Child has to do these tasks at least once a day to earn points, but if the child does not do it by midnight of the day, the child loses points for not doing the task. “Make your bed in the morning“ is an example of a type 2 task. These are must-learn skills. If the child does any task more than once in the day, the child does not earn any additional points in the game. You can assign a minimum of 3 tasks or a maximum of 5 tasks per day to your child, Choose Task type, Choose Points, and Choose the task description you want to give your child. Press the button labeled "Create Challenge." You have successfully created the challenge; you can check out the challenge summary anytime from the homepage. Click the notification for the invitation. Listed below is a summary of the challenge. You can choose your preferred frequency for the reminders. By clicking the button, you can accept or reject the challenge. To accept, press the accept button. Congratulations! How to check your wallet balance and update your Wishlist?
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how to accept a challenge If you are not logged in, first log in to Trumsy.com with your email id and password Click on the “Wallet Balance” card on your home page, your wallet will open You can see you wallet balance on top and your the transactions in chronological order below it If you wish to add items to your wishlist, click on the “wishlist“ card on your home page. You wishlist will open The Wishlist is a list of items you wish your parents to buy for you against your Wallet balance. Understand Tasks and points in a challenge and Submit Tasks
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how points are allocated in a challenge If you are not logged in, first log in to Trumsy.com with your email id and password To earn points, a Child needs to submit a task. If the task and proof is found satisfactory by a parent - the child is allocated points for that task. This happens for all tasks irrespective of task type. Type 1 and Type 2 tasks have a unique differentiation. For Type 2 tasks, If the task is not done or is rejected by a parent points are deducted. The points for every task are decided by a parent at the time of creating a challenge. However, a task can have maximum of 5 points only. Apart from the Child, The parent can also submit a task on behalf of a child. This happens via the “Tag Child task” functionality. The parent has discretion on marks via this method and can allocate upto 5 marks or deduct upto 5 marks from the child if you need any support please reach out to us at support@trumsy.com
How to review your progress in a challenge
Welcome to Trumsy! In this video, we will learn how to review your progress in a Challenge If you are not logged in, first log in to Trumsy.com with your email id and password In the Active challenges section click on a challenge card. If you can’t find your challenge, click on “All Challenges” Once you select the challenge, you will see the Challenge Summary Page. this has all the details about the Challenge is like your Challenge ScoreCard. You can check out the challenge rules, duration, the players, if the challenge is currently active or has ended.
